Polymer Clay Buttons!!

I have always wanted to try making these polymer clay buttons.  I used to work with a girl that made these all the time and they were just so cute.  She made heart buttons and shamrocks and squares and just the cutest things you ever saw.  As usual, I am just doing some surfing and came across this page.  These are great instructions and it sounds very easy to do.

Here is the website if you would like the directions!

The Last Of The Projects!!

I got a couple more pillow cases finished this weekend.  Now I think all of my grandchildren are taken care of for a while.  Everyone has a new pillowcase and a new blanket.  I also embroidered a couple of towels for my youngest daughter's bathroom.  She has her bathroom decorated in black and pink with a powder puff theme.  So I embroidered a stiletto heel in pink on a black towel.  I should of taken a picture of it,  it turned out really cute and she loved it.  Now it is time to start thinking about spring and I need some new tops.  I never seem to have much time to sew for myself.  As soon as my new material arrives, I will be starting and sewing for "ME"!!!

I got my new knives put on my serger yesterday and we could not get the screws out. You just could not get to the screws properly with the fat screwdriver handle.  So we had to go to the store and purchase a really long screwdriver, about 15 inches, so we could get in there without the handle getting in the way.  Once we had a long enough screwdriver it took only minutes to change the upper and lower blade.

Here are the last of my pictures for blankets and pillowcases!  Cindy
