Here is a picture, it would probably be a little easier to see if I had a tiny foot to put into them, but this will have to do. They are made with all kinds of different ribbons cut to around 8-10 inches. Then you just tie them on around the flip flop. The more different types of ribbons you have the cuter they are. I have never made them before. My other daughter, April, stopped over and fell in love with them. She wants them for her girls in every color. That probably won't be happening, unless I can find cute ribbon at a better price. Now it was worth it for my two daughter's competition, but I don't know if it is for everyday. The shoes were $5.00 a pair at Old Navy and the ribbons probably added up to about, at least, $15.00.

Look at my girls -- they will be so excited to get their flip-flops!
Cynthia, if you want cheap ribbon & lace, let me know- my hubby purchased massive amounts of them, particularly lace of every kind, both ruffled & flat, in a variety of colors. I can't possibly use it all, and at some point if I manage to get myself organized, I need to start posting some of it on Ebay, but I'm a HUGE DITZ due to brain tumors from Neurofibromatosis 2, so I take forever to do anything! I'm tumorfarmer@bellsouth.net if you want to contact me. Thank you for sharing your sewing & homemaking tips!
