Well, I printed out the pattern for the free blouse pattern from Sew News and I don't have enough of the material that I wanted to use. I went first to my sewing room and found the card with the website on it of the store I bought it at in Tennessee. I was lucky to find that. Then I looked on line and found they still had the material, but it was a batik fabric and I figured even if I ordered another yard, it probably would not match being it was a batik. I called the shop and talked with a lady and she found the material and said she was 99.9% sure that it was still the same bolt that I bought it from in November. She said they only ordered one bolt of that. Sooo, I really lucked out, she is sending me another yard of it. I remember now why I only bought one yard, it was $18.00 a yard. That is a little pricey for me, but I figured what am I going to make with it, so I did get another yard. This was a really nice fabric shop with real quality fabric. I wish it was closer to me. It is called Waechter's Fine Fabrics and their website is http://www.waechters.com/. They had many patterns for sale and they had row after row of clothes made up with their material and each pattern. You could see how the pattern looked after it was made up and even try on to get the correct size.
I would not hesitate to order anything from them. Everything they had was quality. That is hard to find in my area of Ohio. Anyway, I am excited now to get started. I took a picture of the fabric and I will show pictures along the way. Here is the fabric that I bought. It is a very, very dark red and it is gorgeous! The picture does not do it justice!
