I had alot of left over green tomatoes in my garden and it was calling for frost. My husband and I went out and picked all of them and I should of gotten on the internet before we did this. The internet says to pull plant and all out of the ground and shake off the dirt and hang it upside down in a cool place and the tomatoes will continue to turn red. Well it was to late for that, so I found this recipe on the internet for Green Tomatoe Relish and it had lots of reviews that said it is very good. You just put tomatoes, green peppers, red peppers, and onions in a food process and chop them up, add some vinegar, sugar, mustard seed and celery seed and then bring it to a boil for 5 minutes and process. I did give it a little taste and it is delicious. I can't wait to put it on a hamburger or hotdog sandwich! Here is a picture of all my hard work. I made some small jelly jars, to make some gift baskets at Christmas!
